Indigo in the Bahamas on our 2008 New Years eve dolphin week.

If you would like to see some photos of some of this seasons experiences, check below.

Our New Boat-Indigo

Please note that there is not a price increase this season for Indigo-we will hold our advertised 1345.00 price until the end of the 2008 season. For 2009, the price per week will be 1575.00 per adult.

We are still building this page. Please contact us for any additional information that you might want on our boats.

Indigo has come into our lives. This is a boat that we have been searching for, for several years. We have wanted to take our trips to another level-offering much more comfort, service and the opportunity for more dolphin interactions than we already have. While retaining the good things that have made us who we are as an organization. I feel this boat does just that.

With our 2008 season coming to a close, Indigo has surpassed by far, all of our expectations. Our returning and new guests have given her rave reviews. We have had more dolphin encounters than ever and there is not a dolphin boat that comes close to her level of comfort.

At 91 feet, Indigo is the largest and most comfortable dolphin boat in the Bahamas by far. Every cabin has en-suite heads (bathrooms) w/showers, hair dryers and regular house flushing toilets w/slow close seats-the Egyptian cotton sheets are on the way. There is also an enclosed batroom/shower on the dive deck. There are cabins with queen size berths, cabins with double berths and single berths. The Giggle Room has quad single berths. Five of the staterooms are double occupancy with private berths for each individual guest. The staterooms and bathrooms are much larger than any comparable boat that we know of. All the rooms have personal climate control with your own remote control. She easily rivals any shore side accommodations on the Island.
Each cabin has both 220 and 110 volt outlets as well as charging stations on the dive deck and in the main salon. She is a fully finished yacht.

The main dining room inside seats everyone comfortably with ocean views outside-it also supports a theatre with surround sound for movies and viewing photos taken during the day.

There are two sun decks-one on the top of the boat-everyone's favorite place. For those who would like shade with a view-the dive lounge and the Lido deck above offer panaramic views with comfortable seating and tables. You may also sleep on deck in a hammock or lounge chair if the mood strikes you-under the stars or undercover. Thirty feet above the water, the top sun deck is perfect for watching for dolphins or a taking in a beautiful night sky.

For swimming with the dolphins, or exploring a beautiful reef, the large dive platform-just a few inches above the water- with it's custom steps, make it very easy for guests of any ability to have safe access in and out of the water. Even though Indigo is a big boat there is still an intimacy with the dolphins from her. There is a walkway just a couple of feet off the water encompassing the boat for close up interactions with the dolphins from the boat. Great for that special eye to eye contact! The two fresh water rinse off's are a nice convenience also.

We also have a two large custom built dive dingys for dolphin interactions-they keep us very close to the dolphins both in and out of the water--we will be using both boats depending on the situation.

Indigo keeps with our eco agenda. In her past life as a dive boat in the Caribbean she had the approval to operate in three different marine sanctuaries. She is quiet and there are no fumes to smell when you are in the water.

Stability- For those of you who have been out on some of the big dolphin boats that operated in the past, you know how they liked to roll around a bit-a lot. Not very comfortable. They were originally designed for the oil industry to deliver crews to the oil rigs with speed. They were not designed for slow speed or sitting still on the ocean-so they would like to roll. Many were later converted to dive boats and are still in operation around the world.

With our  previous multihulls we have always had the most stable boats on the dolphin grounds and it was important that the new boat was also stable. Indigo was designed from the begining to be comfortable at sea. With her hull design, massive weight, ballast tanks and underwater stabilizers she sits beautifully on the dolphin grounds. With a comfort both below and above decks that can't be found on any multihull we know of.

Indigos' systems are very much like a sailboats. They are very well done and efficient. We are able to make our own water, have a Trans Atlantic range and are almost as fuel efficient as a sailboat-she moves beautifully through the water with very little wake.  There are backups for everything and we are completely self sufficient.

She has all the safety features that are required and more.

Indigo's first three months of the 2008 season....

Indigo is the fouth and largest boat in our quest for the best dolphin boat possible. One of the questions was, will the dolphins be comfortable with her. See the answer below.

The photos below were taken when our season started until now.
